WORKS IN PROGRESS... Steve was commissioned by the Harmony Project of the National Alliance for Musical Theatre to adapt A.R. Gurney’s THE WAYSIDE MOTOR INN, for which he was named Artist-in-Residence at the Eugene O’Neill Opera Music/Theater Conference. THE WAYSIDE INN, which he has written with his collaborator, Ron McGee, has just been optioned by Mick Leavitt, lead producer of this year’s TONY Award winner for Best Musical... The American Musical Theater of San Jose has commissioned Steve to write a new musical, CAMPAIGN OF THE CENTURY, with Robert L. Freedman.

Steven's next project will be a musical stage adaptation of the classic Alec Guinness film, KIND HEARTS AND CORONETS, for which he will be teamed, once again, with Robert L. Freedman.
