Steven returned to the West Bank Café for the first time in eleven months! It was, once again, a sold-out event, with guests Analisa Leaming, Elsa Carmona and Bill Gross, with Steven sharing theater songs, stand-alone songs, and premiering his newest song from his latest CD, AHEAD OF MY HEART.

Steven’s musical, A GENTLEMAN’S GUIDE TO LOVE AND MURDER, written with his principal collaborator Robert L. Freedman, was all set to open at the La Jolla Playhouse, starring Tony Award winner Jefferson Mays and directed by world-renowned Darko Tresjnak.
Then Steven and Robert were hit with a lawsuit, and the show and much else got put on hold.
A year, a month, a week, and a day later, the case against them was dismissed in its entirety. A huge relief…and now the show is back on track. Stay tuned for details as A GENTLEMAN’S GUIDE TO LOVE AND MURDER gets back on its feet!
Steven recorded a new CD, AHEAD OF MY HEART, to help defray his share of the legal fees. Visit fracturedatlas.org/s/campaign/496 to purchase your own copy and get a tax deduction to boot!
